Hello and welcome to www.mywildlifephotos.de.

My passion for wildlife photography started as an effect of my passion for travelling. Wildlife photography is still new to me as i only became interested in photography in 2007. Soon i became more interested in serious photography and purchased my first DSLR camera. At this time i did not know much about photography in general. But the more i was learning about photography the more i became addicted to the amazing hobby of wildlife photography. It is not only about taking photos of an animal. It is also about beeing outdoors and learning more about the habitat and the behaviour of an animal. In 2009 i purchased my first real wildlife lens (an old Sigma lens) and in 2010 i upgraded my equipment to a semi-professional body and lens. But a good body and lens do not guarantee good photos - it is all about the skills and the knowledge of the photographer. I still have to get to know both the body and the lens better to be able to make the most of it.
