Here are a few photos from my trip to Germany´s north-easternmost and less populated province Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It offers a wide range of different habitats for wild animals - from a stunnung coastline where ancient forests meet the sea to numerous lakes and nature reserves inland - which makes it a "must-go" place for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ist not only home to Germany´s heraldic animal and the biggest eagle in Europe, the white-tailed eagle, it is also the only place in Germany where you can see red deer along the beach. Unfortuntately my old Sigma lens couldn´t provide a satisfying quality any longer when i was there for the first time in 2010. That´s why only three photos are shown here by now. Anyway the plan is to go to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2012 again.
